The
SU-100
A
Formidable Tank Killer
The
SU-100 was also identified by the soviets as a formidable tank-killer
where in it could go even against the German Tigers and Panthers.
But in CC3 it would have been immobilzed before it could fire its
second shot. In reality tho, it was still used long after WWII. It's long 100 mm was developed
from a high-velocity naval gun which can penetrate armour with
great results. It's main gun was also useful for area fire because
of it's high explosives shell. But the SU-100 tank wasn't that all
great, like the SU-85 it had no secondary machine gun armament, so
close combat had to be avoided most of the time. It can only hold
34 100 mm shells and it carried external fuel tanks which at any
time can cause an explosion that could harm its crew and the
infantry support surrounding it. The SU-100 is also a turret less
tank.
