So, you think you've got what it takes? Prove
it by joining the GDS clan! The GDS clan is the first Close Combat III clan on the net.
Our primary function is to be the standout figures and experienced players on the Internet
Gaming Zone as. GDS is an abbreviation for Guards, who were the elite Russian soldiers of
World War II.
Before you can join the clan you have to
agree with certain requirements first and follow these 4 easy steps.
Step 1 (now
optional)
Make your own File Info
Go to our members page at the site and
read some of the current members info, I'm sure you'll enjoy. Now using this format as an
example please create you own info so when you become a full fledge member we can post it
there with the rest. It doesn't need to be a complete story just stuff like name, height,
weight, and a brief pre-WWII or WWII story line about you.
Step 2
Try Outs
Now you will need to be tested by three council
members. You should be able to find
GDS_SgtSaunders, GDS_rwcanuck, GDS_demonic, GDS_Candy, GDS_ SENDOG, or myself
GDS_StarFury
online throughout the day. Just let one of us know you need to be tested. They will then
send their recommendation into SgtSaunders or me.
Step 3
Register on Case's Ladder
If you are not currently registered on
the CC3 ladder please do so at www.igl.net. As you can see we are dominating the top 20.
And several other members are on their way up. It will get much harder to move up as more
people join, so do it now.
Step 4
Download ICQ
Please, if you don't already have ICQ
go to www.icq.com and download it. We use it to communicate when we're not playing and for
group meetings. There is no charge, it only takes about 15 minutes to download and
register. Please send SgtSaunders or me your number so we can add you to our list.
Step 5
GDS Oath
Along with this message you should have
received another, with the subject being GDS Oath. Please reply to that by simply replying
with a Yes I swear or No I don't agree message.
